Rock & Roll for the Night Time Blues

Collin Marx writes songs for the night time blues, those late late hours when the city goes quiet and the mind starts to wander. His sound is lean, guitar-driven, and alive, pulling something old into the present without getting stuck in nostalgia. It’s rock & roll at its heart, but filtered through radio static, through phantoms, and through the creeping sense that something’s just a little off.His new record, Something Wicked, leans into the raw edge of garage rock but leaves a trail of unease in its wake. The songs hit quick, all sharp guitars and restless rhythm, but something lingers in the corners. There’s a sense of watching your own shadow move before you do. The ghosts here aren't always literal. They show up in glances, in gut feelings, in the paranoia that creeps in when things seem too quiet. It's a record wired with energy and full of static, built for moving forward but never quite outrunning what's behind you.
